Antique print titled 'Vergader-kamer van de Heeren Staten van Holland en Westvriesland.' This spectacular plate shows the meeting room of the Lords of the States of Holland and West Frisia in Den Haag / The Hague, The Netherlands (nowadays the 'Eerste Kamer'). This print originates from 'Beschrijving van 's Gravenhage.', by Mr. Jacob Riemer (1676-1762), published in Delft by Reinier Boitet, 1730. With many beautiful engravings of important buildings, churches, monasteries, manors and castles of The Hague, current location of the Dutch Government in the Netherlands. Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Jan Caspar Philips. Condition: Good, given age. Margins with some small tears. Some repaired tears in the image, hardly visble on recto. Original folds as issued. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study image carefully. Date: 1730 Overall size: 73.3 x 52.6 cm. Image size: 68.7 x 49.7 cm.
