Caroline van Hook Bean (American, 1879– 1980) St. Philip’s etching and aquatint sight 10 ½ by 13 ⅝ inches frame 17 by 20 ⅛ inches Caroline van Hook Bean was born in Washington DC. She studied painting in Paris with John Singer Sargent and Bernard Blommers. Later in her career she became a member of the Society of Washington Artists, the Society of Washington Etchers, and the Washington Art Club

    Wear consistent with age and use. Very good condition with a spot or stain on the door area (middle left side of print). Custom framed with UV protective Conservation Clear glass in good condition with some light wear.
