The accompanying German text describes the orangutan's habitat and behavior:
"This ape lives on the islands of Malacca, Sumatra, and Borneo. It is gentle, peaceful, and capable of imitating human actions. The orangutan builds nests in trees and rarely comes to the ground. Its hands and feet are well adapted for climbing, and it uses its powerful arms to swing between branches with ease. The orangutan grows up to 5 feet or more in height, resembling humans in many physical and behavioral traits. However, its reddish-brown fur and unique facial features distinguish it from other primates. Its diet consists mainly of fruits and leaves, and it exhibits remarkable intelligence in its interactions with the environment."
