About the Item

The "Four Seasons: Fine Prints from Paintings and Drawings by Andrew Wyeth" is a portfolio of loose prints by Andrew Wyeth with an accompanying pamphlet in the set's original box. Published by Art in America Magazine in 1962 with a preface by Lloyd Goodrich, Director of the Whitney Museum of America Art. Twelve color plates include original dimensions, ownership and dates. The works were selected by Andrew and Betsy Wyeth and the plates were made directly from the originals. Light gray cloth portfolio, front cover paper label. In original gray box with matching cover label. In good condition with wear consistent with age, including to the box which appears to have had something heavy put on it and is slightly flattened. From an unnumbered edition of 100 pieces. Prints are 13" x 17" each
