This lithograph, “Parisian Landscapes – Pont des Saints-Pères and the Louvre”, is signed by Henri Rivière in the lower right corner. The artwork is authentic and original.
As for its condition, please note: in the margins, there are fold marks, ink lines, and small stains.
On the lithograph itself, we note some small stains and a light fold mark.
The lithograph retains very fresh colors, and once framed, most imperfections will be barely visible.

Henri Rivière (1864–1951) was a French painter, printmaker, and illustrator. He began his career in drawing and then turned to intaglio printmaking, particularly etching, in 1882. At the same time, he started a career as a stage director and set designer, working from 1886 with shadow theatre at the cabaret Le Chat Noir, where he innovated with colorful set designs. He later devoted himself exclusively to painting and printmaking, becoming a key figure in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography, and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
