This lithograph is signed by Henri Rivière in the lower left corner.
The work is authentic and dates from the original period.
In the margins, there are ink marks, several tears (1.5 cm on the left; 1.3 cm and 1.4 cm on the right; between 0.2 cm and 0.4 cm at the bottom), small stains, and folding traces.
On the image itself, a few small stains are visible in certain areas.
Despite these minor flaws, the lithograph remains very fresh in color. Once framed, most of the imperfections will be barely noticeable.

About the Artist:
Henri Rivière (1864–1951) was a renowned French painter, printmaker, and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and later specialized in intaglio techniques, particularly etching, starting in 1882. In parallel, from 1886, he also worked as a stage designer and director of shadow plays at the famous Le Chat Noir cabaret, where he introduced innovative colored sets.
He eventually devoted himself entirely to painting and printmaking and became a major figure in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography, and watercolor—creating approximately one thousand watercolors during his lifetime.
