Lithograph by Henri Rivière La Féérie des Heures - L'Aube
This lithograph “La Féérie des Heures - L'Aube” is signed Henri Rivière and bears a red stamp stamp at the bottom right. The work is authentic and old.
For the condition, note small spots in places on the lithograph. A difference in size between the top margin and the bottom margin, a trace of folding in the right margin.
The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be barely visible.
Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcut, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
