About the Item
A 1985 abstract lithograph titled Echo Park by the American artist Michael David (born 1954). The work features two circular shapes at the center of the composition in shades of blue, black, and red. The lower half of the work has a circular striped design. Along the lower edge, the work is numbered 25/35, titled "Echo Park," signed "M. Davis," and dated. The print is displayed behind a white mat in a wooden frame.
Michael David received his BFA from Parsons School of Design in 1976. His work is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among others. In 1984, Davis was awarded with a Guggenheim Fellowship.
