These are a set of TWO new, digitally remastered, framed coloured prints of Junglefowl, dating originally to the 1800's from French provincial art works.
Junglefowl are a wild forerunner of the domestic chicken.
The junglefowl appears here in new colored prints, taken from beautiful hand-coloured French prints, which dated originally to circa 1838. The prints come presented in elegant round black frames. Portraits of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand painted over the top to give them vibrant colours.
Each and every part of these stunning portraits is hand cut, printed and assembled in England to create pictures of distinction with minimal carbon footprint. To ensure the finest quality and exceptional durability, they are printed using archival grade methods, with a sustainable wood frames so they’re ready to hang.
