An intriguing framed print (likely woodcut) signed and dated by the artist, Giacomini 1985, the work recalls early 20th century artistic movements toward abstraction of the figurative. The subject matter at center (presumably a woman, sitting in a ladder-back chair) appears as a white silhouette against a mostly black composition; selectively highlighted areas in red, yellow, and green pigments deepen the mystery of the context.
