About the Item
Vintage Snaffles 'Jock' (K.I.) WWI Military Print.
A hand coloured Snaffles lithograph entitled Jock (K.I). The picture shows a Kilted Infantryman standing amongst ruins, his bayonet in the ground, cleaning his riffle. In the right hand margin is a remarque depicting two prisoners of war eating. This framed Charles "Snaffles" Johnson Payne (1884 1967) picture is in original condition with the Snaffles blindstamp (a bridle bit) in the bottom right-hand corner.
