NW Corner Shelf in Waxed Aluminum Plate by Jonathan Nesci
About the Item
NW Corner Floor Shelf in machine cut 3-8 inch thick aluminum plate. Each element is hand-finished and waxed and bolted together with recessed stainless steel hardware. The underside has a digitally-cut, recessed 1-8 inch delrin foot to protect the underside of the aluminum plate. Designed to display objects and books with hidden compartments behind the angled display fronts.

Jonathan Nesci
Jonathan is a furniture and exhibition designer based in Columbus who works with a variety of producers in the Midwest that use conventional and digital fabrication processes to execute his designs in a myriad of materials and finishes. In 2009, "Wallpaper" honored Jonathan with a Design Award for Best Use Of Material for his “Library Bookcase,” a wall-mounted shelf in polished aluminum that was recently added to the permanent collection of the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
Different scales and materials are available on request. All will be part of the edition number.
