Chinese Embroidery Framed
About the Item
A mid 18th century Chinese embroidery probably from a Chinese robe. It's beautifully embroidered. Embroidery is depicting scenic birds, cherry blossom, melons and peonies flowers, as well as others. In a gold gilded bamboo frame. Purchased in New York in the early 1950s. The embroidery itself is 8 1/2” x 12”.
