FORMAE is a macrame / woven fiber art tapestry (wall hanging) created by Tamar Samplonius.
Lead time: 6-7 weeks
'Formae explores the impact of simplicity in both design and structure. The fiber artwork consists of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines that meet, allowing shapes to emerge. Using a combination of weaving and knotting techniques, these shapes are filled with various neutral tones to create a sense of balance.
Structurally, simplicity is achieved through the absence of visible suspension rods or dowels. This is the first piece I’ve been able to mount with hidden hardware—something I’m very excited about! Without visible supports, the focus remains entirely on the design itself.'

However, each one will have its own unique details, with slight variations.
