A fine 19th Century French Aubusson Tapestry, circa 1880, exhibits a rich and detailed composition, showcasing exceptional artistry. A young man and two young women cavort amongst a Flower and Vine framed pavilion playing Blind Man’s Bluff, all in tones of Salmon, Olive, Brown, and Green. Tightly woven and having a Linen sleeve sewn to the top for hanging. Condition: Please see detail photos. There is some age-related wear which includes some old dark spotting to the upper right Side Top, aging and some spotting to the upper left side facing top and a small tear in the same area, all mentioned for accuracy as they do not not detract from the overall fine French presentation.
