A Original vintage South American weaving by the Dutch artist Jan Schreuder (1904 - 1964)
Wool and cotton 96 x 100 cm 37 x 39 inches Circa 1957
Condition: Minor wear: some small holes which can only been seen when held up to the light Good.
Schreuder studied at The Academy in The Hague after which he moved to South American and founded the 'Iuadorea Art Centre' and the 'del Centro da Manufacturas Textiles de Quito,' Ecuador, in 1952,
A Original work by Jan exhibited at various museums and galleries in Europe
including the Tropenmuseum Amsterdam.
