Pair of French Aubusson Tapestry Entre Fenetres 'for Between Windows'
$16,500 per set

About
A pair of French Aubusson tapestries woven in the mid-19th century. Originally intended to hang between windows in a formal French salon, but today could be hung on walls anywhere. Where symmetry is desired. Their design is of 18th century origin and is centred around baskets of fruit, garlands, cartouches, and even bull rushes. The colors are still very vivid despite their age suggesting that they were protected from sunlight.
