Rare Jacques Borker Rug

About the Item

Beautiful, intricately designed medium pile wool carpet by one of the most important and influential textile designers of the 20th century. Not as well-known at Jean Lurcat, but considered as important to establishing the mid-20th century revival of the French Aubusson industry and a true artist in the design of modernist tapestry and woven rugs. Retains the label from Bockers atelier Balt Paris.
