Very large Aubusson Tapersty Circa 1720's. ‘Verdure’ (foliage) tapestries were woven throughout the 17th and 18th Centuries, featuring wooded landscapes, reflecting the interest in botanical themes during this period. Here we have a very high quality, very fine example of Aubusson design and manufacturing. Fanstasic intricate work with the depth of field Aubussons have come to be known for.
