Very beautiful mid century French tapestry with nice design of « Les Amours » (the loves). This Renaissance artwork portrays a dilligent but merry band of cherubic children toiling away to carry an enormous garland of flowers. This copy with pretty colours is entirely and very finely hand embroidered with the needlepoint method, in wool and silk on cotton foundation.
