Very beautiful mid century French Aubusson style tapestry with a beautiful 15th century tapestries design showing a scene in the countryside, outside the village, a shepherdess playing music, and sheep all around. we see trees and vegetation. all this in a style of tapestries and paintings of the middle ages. with pretty colors in greens, blues, oranges and pinks. this tapestry has been made by in the workshops of renowned robert four, in Aubusson, by the method of printing by hand in the heart of the wool.
