19th Century Italian Florentine Hand-Carved Painted Wood Wall Bracket Shelves

Pair of boldly hand-carved and painted Italian Florentine wall bracket shelves in the baroque manner, circa 1850-1880. The shelves feature a shapely platform resting on elaborate, carved scrolls in colors of faded cream, green, gold and turquoise accented with a single red flower. The pair displays a beautifully aged patina lending them great character while they possess a dramatic richness with timeless beauty and form. Stunning decorative elements for any room.
