This Beautiful 19th century bas relief carving depicts a portrait of Venus and a cherub, framed beautifully in a gilded wood Rococo frame.
The carving is an original, and produced carved on a sparkle stone possibly granite. The carvings is Signed and dated 1875 Rome.
The relief measures 52 cm in width, 42 cm in height and 6 cm in depth, making it of medium size and perfect for any art collection. This item is listed by a dealer or reseller, and would be a great addition to any art lover's collection.
