Harris Strong Framed "Victorian House" Plaster Sculpture

About the Item

Plaster-cast "Victorian House" sculpture by Harris G. Strong (ca. late 1970s/early 1980s, Maine, USA). Unusual example from Strong, who was more commonly associated with his colorful ceramic tile sculptures. Alas, when his factory in Trenton, Maine burned down destroying all of the glaze formulas he had spent more than two decades developing, Strong branched out into other mediums. Excellent, vintage condition, retaining the manufacturer's label in verso. Additionally signed and titled on front. Framed: H: 23.25" x L: 25" x D: 1.75" House alone: H: 10.75" x L: 12.5"
