Artist active in northern Italy, 17th century Heraldic coat of arms: shield quartered at first and fourth in black with a rampant lion, to the second and third gold eagle Carved, polychrome and gilded walnut wood, 88 x 55.5 x 4.5 cm Heraldic coat of arms in carved, polychrome and gilded walnut wood. Of great sculptural quality, it is presented with the heraldic shield bearing the arms of the family, carved in the center of an elegantly wavy structure carved in seventeenth-century motifs, and further embellished by the skillful alternation of black lacquer and gilding. This structure, ideally resting on a marbled base by means of a golden acanthus leaf, is supported: in the lower part by two Angels with outstretched wings gently resting on triumphs of fruits, and, in the upper one, by a character (perhaps related to the Family) looking toward the viewer,. Shield quartered at first and fourth in black with lion rampant, at second and third in gold with eagle Dimensions: 88 x 50/55.5 x 4.5 The work, like any of our other objects, will be sold accompanied by certificates of authenticity. In case the work is purchased by non-Italian customers the same will require the certificate of free movement. The same can be obtained in 10 to 20 working days.
