About the Item
A gorgeous gemstone bangle bracelet from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k vibrant yellow gold, this bangle features alternating diamonds and demantoid stones. The 2 diamonds, which are bezel-set are both old mine cuts, and have an approximate total carat weight of .45ctw. The diamonds display G/H color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The 3 demantoids are square-cuts and are also bezel-set. The incredibly luscious green stones have an approximate total carat weight of 1.35ctw. The entire surface of the bangle is also adorned with intricate repousse detailing. The repousse artwork depict the side profiles of varying men and women, who highly resemble gods and goddesses. All of the faces are highly-intricate, and some of the individuals are depicted in armor. The interior surface of the bracelet is smooth and simple. A colorful and highly-detailed piece, this bangle would make a great addition to any bracelet stack!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 5/8" wide and 2 1/4" tall. The surface of the bangle measures 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
