Antique Victorian silver Chunky bangle, 9k gold Floral, Aesthetic
About the Item
You can't help but fall in love with this gorgeous antique, Victorian, sterling silver and gold bangle.
The bangle is wide and chunky with a smooth polished reverse and a profusely engraved front with areas picked out in relief and beautiful applied yellow and rose gold highlights.
It has a floral design in the aesthetic manner, a highly decorative bangle.
A very well made and designed piece.
It is an oval shaped bangle, best for wrists around 6.25" to 7.25" looks great worn alone or with other bangles for a mega stacked look.
Marks and era:
The bangle is marked on the clasp but this is hard to see, tests as sterling silver and 9ct gold Victorian era, c1880s
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, lots of areas of ths engraving at the front have pierced all the way through the bangle, this is visible from inside only and is due to the engraving process rather than damage but a point to note, see photos, clasp can be stiff, some arasof wear to the applied gold sections.
