1950's Old Mine Diamonds Ruby Pin/Brooch 62x53MM 18K Gold
About the Item
Pin/brooch featuring Old mine cut diamond bezel and prong set, flanked with channel set Synthetic Rubies. Center circle surrounded with beautiful "ribbon"/floral scrollwork. Bow set with 17 Old mine cut diamonds - measuring from 4.3 -3.0MM in diameter. Two dangling - I call it "tassels", bezel set with 4 Old Mine Cut natural Diamonds, two big ones measuring 5.0MM in diameter and 2.85MM deep, one smaller one is 4.0mm in diameter. Diamonds look clan and sparkly, most likely H-I-J in Color and I1 in clarity - we estimate 3.0-3.10CT total weight. Twenty square cut Rubies - Synthetic) are beautiful in color and very clean - 0.80CT total weight approximately. I have to say Mid-century to be safe (but it could be older). Antique pin is not stamped but acid tested and holds 18K. Pin measuring 62x53MM long. Pin/brooch weigh 29.0 grams.
