About the Item

Art Deco car brooch with gemstones. Beautiful antique car miniature brooch, created in America during the art deco period, back in the 1925. This little piece has been crafted with excellent details in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and parts in platinum. Embellished with antique gemstones and fitted with a hinged bar and a hook to wear as a brooch. Diamonds: Mount in a pave millegrain setting, with 36 European rose cut diamonds, 0.72 carats, G/H color, SI clarity. Emerald: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 round cut green Emerald of 0.02 carats. Birthstone: Diamonds for the month of April. Weight: 5.40 Grams, (3.46 Dwt). Measurements: 31 mm by 13 mm (1.22 x 0.52 Inches). Hallmarks: No marks, electronically tested for .750 gold and platinum. Note: Millegrain is a jewelry technique which refers to the textural effect of a close-set line of metal beads that are typically used as a border on the edges or bezels of jewelry. Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold.
