THIS IS A MAGNIFICENT MUSEUM QUALITY JEWEL MADE BY E. WOLFE & CO., LONDON, CREATORS OF THE THE RUSSIAN FRINGE TIARA MADE FOR GERRARD AND WORN BY THE QUEEN MOTHER, QUEEN ELIZABETH II AND PRINCESS ANNE AT THEIR WEDDINGS. HERE WE HAVE AN ART DECO DREAM JEWEL OF A RED RUBY CAT AND BLUE SAPPHIRE DOG WITH DIAMOND COLLAR AND A DIAMOND SET BASE IN 18 KARAT GOLD. THE GEMS ARE OF THE FINEST QUALITY - THE COLORS SPECTACULAR! THE CLARITY OF THE STONES BEYOND BELIEF. THE JEWEL DATES TO THE ART DECO PERIOD WITH A DATE HALLMARK OF 1935.
E WOLFE & CO ALSO MADE THE ROYAL CORONATION CROWN FOR QUEEN ALEXANDRA IN 1902 FOR CARRINGTON AND COMPANY, THE IMPERIAL CROWN OF INDIA COMMISIONED BY GERRARD AND CO. FOR THE 1911 DELHI DURBAR, AND THE CAMBRIDGE LOVERS KNOT TIARA MADE IN 1913 AND OFTEN WORN BY PRINCESS DIANA. This is an extraordinary Art Deco Sapphire, 7mm Pearl, Old European Cut Diamond, Platinum, Tiffany & Co. Stick Pin Brooch. It is very rare to find original Art Deco Tiffany & Co. jewels and this one is absolutely magnificent. The design highlights the superb quality of Art Deco imagery. In the center is a 7mm Pearl of great beauty. Below the pearl is a stunning fine blue rectangular-cut Sapphire. The natural Sapphire is a magnificent blue color and cut.
