Edwardian 15kt gold and silver frog brooch with diamonds and rubies

An enchanting lapel brooch from the Edwardian era, crafted in 15kt yellow gold and silver and set with diamonds and rubies takes the form of a charming frog.
The brooch showcases intricate detailing and skilled craftsmanship. The frog's body is adorned with graduated rose diamonds, while the eyes are adorned with round-faceted rubies.
The front of the brooch is silver, while the reverse is gold, including an 18. gold pin.
These animal or novelty brooches, as they were occasionally referred to, enjoyed significant popularity in the early 20th century.
