Antique Archaeological Revival 15kt gold Enamel Pin Brooch
About the Item
Antique Archaeological Victorian Etruscan revival pin /brooch with beautiful details . Pin front features exceptional quality of the granulation and filigree wirework with enamel work in between (enamel is in red ,turquoise blue and red color) .Back has a old "C" clasp .
Pin is extremely well maid Although not marked /signed it is in the same school of a Castellani style piece....a similar examples can be seen "Castellani and Giuliano revivalist jewelers of the 19th century" by Geoffrey C. Munn .
Dates : Late 19th century
Measurement :
pin is 1 1/8 inches x 1 1/8 inches max width .
Weighs 7 grams on my weighing scale .
Condition :
Brooch is in good antique condition very less wear to the enamel work . Clasp is in good working order .
