This is a large and bold example of the 1940's trend for huge brooches made to wear on neat little tailored suits. The Eisenberg company specialised in dresses and suits and added the brooches to the clothing for sale. In the 1930s, they became so popular that they sold the brooches alone. This joyful example is made in pot metal with varying size and shapes of pale blue and clear paste. Stunning!
