French 19th Century Sapphire Fine Pearl Enamel Silver Pendant Brooch
About the Item
Pendant-Brooch in silver, ram's head hallmark.
Refined, this antique brooch features an arabesque design adorned with small sapphires and fine half-pearls, a fleur-de-lis motif at the top and 3 half-pearls in a tassel. In the center, enamel in shades of pinkish-brown and gold depicts 3 small cupids. The back features a glass compartment with a hinge at the bottom to accommodate a keepsake. The brooch clasps with a pin and safety hook. The set can be disassembled to wear the jewel as a pendant, thanks to a fleur-de-lis motif adorned with sapphires and fine pearls and 2 chains adorned with fine half-pearls, which are fastened to the top of the jewel with hooks and small rings.
Height : 5,4 cm approximately, width : 4,5 cm approximately, thickness : 8,5 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 23,8 g approximately.
