Lyrical and romantic bar pin/pendant featuring a large and rare pink star sapphire with a stunning frame of diamonds and signed Marcus & Co. brooch consisting of approx. a 12.0 mm round cabochon pink star sapphire bezel set in the center of a platinum. (36) old mine cut diamonds (approx.. 1.0cttw., gross weight) further enhance this beautiful and iconic piece of Art Nouveau history...
This well appointed example measures approx. 1-3/8 inches x 1 inch and weighs 6.60 dwt.
Marcus and Co. designs were of high quality, and are still among the best examples of American Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts jewelry.
