About the Item

Glamorous Roger Jean Pierre French brooch clip from the 1950's with aurora and clear crystal paste stones. The fur clip is attached to a tiered element with many layers of aurora and crystal stones and sits very high. From this dangles a long drop ending in a pear shaped paste. No doubt, this clip once adorned a lavish evening gown or coat. France 1950's. 4.25" x 2" wide. "Depose" clip fittings. Excellent condition.

A late Victorian demantoid garnet and diamond brooch, the naturalistically modelled lizard encrusted with rose-cut diamonds and embellished to the spine with a row of nine graduated oval mixed-cut demantoid garnets, all silver set to a yellow gold mount, circa 1890, measuring approximately 6x1.9cm, gross weight 6.3 grams.
