GIA Certified Natural Pearl Necklace, Pendant, Earring Set Parure

About the Item

This is a rare and breathtaking natural river pearl parure featuring GIA-certified natural (uncultured) river pearls in composition with buttery 14K yellow gold to create a necklace, a pendant and a luxurious pair of dangle earrings. I believe the set was created in the 1950s, though the earrings have replacement hooks in 18K gold. The necklace is 20" in length and features 9 luminous and huge white baroque river pearls. They range in size from 5.90mm x 4.87mm to 10.17mm x 7.59mm. The pendant features magnificent pearl of tremendous size, measuring 17.40mm x 13.66mm x 8.72mm. It is suspended from a 23" 14K yellow gold chain featuring smaller versions of the links found in the dangle earrings. Speaking of the dangle earrings: each measures 3.6" in length and is composed of two baroque pearls and a pair of natural wing pearls. The four baroque pearls measure approximately 10.88 x 10.46, 7.23 x 9.11mm; 10.12 x 11.36, 9.57 x 9.81mm. The two small wing pearls are approximately 8.5mm in length. Natural river pearls such as these are today exceedingly rare and highly sought-after. All three items in the jewelry suite ship with individual GIA reports stating that these are natural freshwater pearls without any treatment.
