Art Nouveau Style Drop Earrings in 18K Gold with Diamonds & South Sea Pearls
About the Item
This gorgeous pair of drop earrings by Eytan Brandes features an Art Nouveau design based on a small stickpin we acquired in 2022. Eytan converted the stickpin to a bale for a pearl fob, but he liked the design so much that he recreated it, about 25% bigger and in 18 karat gold.
With high polish edges and satiny matte interior surfaces, the graceful, flowing lines create the perfect frame for a beautiful, sparkling 3.5mm white diamond -- 0.16 carats on each ear of G-H/VS1-2 natural diamond perfection.
And speaking of perfection, the finishing touch is a lustrous South Sea baroque pearl drop -- small by South Sea standards but crazy-bright and frosty. These pearls are 8.2mm and 8.9mm with irregular shapes but high color and near flawless skins.
With the pearls, each earring is about 35mm long (approximately 1-3/8") and 17mm (5/8") wide.
Heavyweight 18 karat gold butterfly backs are included.
The total weight of these earrings is 9.8 grams, including the backs.
