Golden South Sea Pearl Earrings with 18k Gold Filigree Tops, Diamond Accent
About the Item
One of Eytan Brandes' evergreen designs is his lacy openwork disc -- he's used it for chains, charms and drop earrings -- in every kind of metal set with every kind of stone -- but this is the first time he's used it to top off a pair of pearls. And what a pair!
These are truly gorgeous rich golden South Sea pearls from our trusted dealer -- George Hajjar of Seven Seas Pearls. With offices in Los Angeles and Japan, Mr. Hajjar buys directly from the pearl farmers of Japan, Tahiti, and off the coast of Australia (i.e., South Sea). He does not deal in any Chinese or freshwater pearls, so we always know exactly what we are offering our customers.
This dynamic duo, paired personally by Mr. Hajjar, are exceptional: both are 13.2mm with bonkers strong color and luster plus near-perfect roundness. There are two tiny flaws on one of the pearls -- they show up on the video, but the skins of these little treasures are otherwise glassy smooth.
The discs are 18 karat gold and each features a bright little full cut natural and earth-mined diamond (G-H color and VS1-2 clarity) in its center.
Butterfly backs in 18 karat gold are included.

Note for comparison purposes that our bald earring mannequin has a life-sized head but her ears are on the dainty side. Our creepy disembodied ear is life-sized. My pretty cousin is also life-sized, but she gets to keep her gold studs.
