Fei Liu Fine Jewellery, founded in 2006 by award-winning designer Fei Liu, resides in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter. With a passion for crafting timeless pieces, Fei draws from his early love for the arts, mastering Chinese calligraphy and ink painting. Inspiration struck during a visit to a Russian crown jewellery exhibition, where Fei realised he could blend his artistic flair with craftsmanship. Here is a pair of natural imperial Jadeite Jade, rubies and natural diamond earrings with the best imperial green color. This color is rare and in high demand. The earrings are set in 18k white gold. There are 10 larger new rose cut (0.55cts), 24 smaller round rose cut (0.27cts) diamonds set into these earrings. There are also 6 beautiful red Burma rubies. The untreated / un-enhanced natural imperial jades (12.15cts + 11.82cts approx 29.3mm x 16.3mm) are the center of attention. In this setting are also 6 smaller imperial jade cabochons (2.22cts). These earrings are substantial. The total length of the earrings are about 2.25 inches or about 5.5cm.
To be considered "true" imperial jade, the color must have a high saturation of green AND high translucency. All pieces of jades in these earrings exhibit high green color saturation and high translucency. The jade material is top notch with a beautiful modern design. The jades glow and you can see the earrings form far away. Photos does not do this pendant justice. This would be a great gift for that special someone.
