About the Item
These Antique Victorian - Belle Epoque Dangle Drop Earrings are spectacular with exquisite pointed briolette Rock Crystal drops of clear and rose colored Rock Crystal hanging from a line of seed pearl leaves and of a dramatic 3 inches long. The earrings date to circa 1895. They are some of the most beautiful antique earrings we have seen with extraordinary delicate romantic design and style. The beautiful faceted rock crystal pointed briolette pendants are of a clear and a pale pink color and the delicate contrast between the two colors is exquisite. These drops have a gold surround adorned with seed pearls and they hang from leaf motif chains further adorned with seed pearls. The fabulous length of these drop earrings make them a true show stopper and a delight to be treasured. These are very special antique original period jewels.
The earrings are 3 inches (7.5cm) long to the top of the shepherd's hooks, and are ½ inch (13mm) wide.
The earrings are 10 Karat Gold and Silver as was the custom of the period.
