About the Item
A pair of South Sea cultured pearl and diamond earrings, each earring with a single old brilliangt-cut diamond top, the one diamond weighing 0.90 carats and the other 0.91 carats, assessed to be of I-J colour and SI2-I1 clarity, each millegrain-set in platinum collet with a South Sea cultured pearl attached below, each pearl measuring approximately 13.5-13.9mm in diameter and set on a cap with fluted decorations, with yellow gold post and platinum scroll fitting, hallmarked 18ct gold, London, 2015, made by Bentley & Skinner, measuring 2.1 x 1.4cm, gross weight 13.6 grams.

A pair of classic pearl and diamond earrings from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. The large pearls recall the decadence of the Dutch Golden Age, while the brilliant-cut diamonds make these earrings modern and timeless.
