Vintage 2.90 Carat Diamond and 18k Garrard Earrings

About the Item

These stunning, fine and impressive vintage diamond earrings have been crafted in 18 karat yellow gold with platinum settings. Each earring bears a tri-looped ribbon bow comprised of thirty-three individually claw set diamonds, in a combination of modern brilliant round and eight cuts. The scrolling yellow gold frame bears two collet set baguette cut diamonds to the bow loop incurves. Each multistranded yellow gold setting is further embellished with tapering white gold ribbon tails, ornamented with eight further baguette and eight-cut diamonds, in a combination of collet and pavé settings. These earrings for pierced ears secure to the reverse with a post and hinged fastening. These exceptional examples of vintage jewellery have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold and platinum. These vintage 1980's earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card. This design was created and retailed by Garrard & Co; the accompanying brooch from the suite was retained by the original custodian. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone. Condition These impressive vintage earrings are superior quality as to be expected from this maker, set with very high colour graded diamonds displaying a fine white colour and brilliance.
