Victorian Diamond and Enamel Pheasant Stick Pin

About the Item

A Victorian diamond and enamel pheasant stick pin, the head of the pin depicting a pheasant with rose-cut diamonds set to silver and an enamelled head, total diamond weight approximately 0.15 carats, the pheasant measuring 16.9 x 10mm, set to an 18ct yellow gold stick pin, gross weight 1.9grams. A fantastically detailed stick in the form of a pheasant. The pheasant is set with glittering rose-cut diamonds and the bird’s head features skilful enamel in green, red, and white. This handsome late Victorian stick pin comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would look handsome on the lapel of a tweed jacket. This antique pin is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as silver and 15ct gold.
