Emerald Green Jade Necklace Certified Untreated, Diamond Clasp, 33"
About the Item
This luxurious 33" necklace is composed of 99 fine green certified natural and untreated jadeite jade beads. The beads graduate in size from 6.10 mm near the clasp to 8.51 mm at the center. The beads are a medium emerald-green, highly translucent and with a gorgeous high polish. A sleek and slender 18K white gold clasp set with five diamonds that total approximately .25 carats finishes the piece.
Here, you can see a range of images that show you how this magnificent jewel looks in different light. The high translucency and fine grain are the reason this jade looks extraordinary under all lighting conditions.
And the 33" length means you may be able to wear it doubled, creating a sort of double-princess strand.
The beads have been freshly re-strung on silk, as the previous knots were showing their age. Speaking of age: I believe this necklace dates to the 1960s or 1970s.
The necklace ships with a certificate from Stone Group Labs stating that the jade is untreated jadeite from Burma (Myanmar).
