Antique Art Deco Cobalt Blue Guilloche Enamel Locket
About the Item
This charming Art Deco 1920's Cobalt Blue and gold guilloche enamel and silver gilt locket is most like made in Austria or Switzerland. The front cover of this beautiful piece is decorated in a striking cobalt blue guilloche enamel with a sunburst motif that change its shape depending on the light and angle, surrounded by gold enamelled decoration with garland of roses and a little star in the centre. Back of the compact has the same guilloche enamel design. The interior is set in silver gilt revealing a place for two photographs. Stamped 'MM' together with other word on the bail (please see detailed images).

Dimensions: 4 cm in diameter
Weight: 4 grams
Condition: Minor scratches to the cover, minor loss to enamel to the edge of locket. Otherwise in very good antique condition with no damage.
