About the Item

Sunrise. Dendrite agate peach moonstone and diamond pendant choker necklace. A picture-like dendrite agate is set in a 21k gold bezel, highlighted with peach moonstone and embellished with diamond and sapphire accents. The dendrite agate is surrounded by light brown diamonds and an orange sapphire evoking the perfect picture of a sun rising above the water and surrounding trees washing the whole picture in subtle warm light. The listing is for a pendant on a bronze colored silk cord. You can also custom order a leather strand terminated with an 18k gold closure. The inspiration for this pendant comes from the agate imagery and a classical tradition of emulating nature, as well as ancient manual techniques of jewelry making, such as fusing and metal forming. These techniques were introduced by pre-Classical Sumerian, Mycenaean, and Minoan cultures and built upon during Greek Classical and Hellenistic periods when naturalistic forms were introduced. My designs are influenced by the skill and the laborious attention to detail paid by the artisans throughout thousands of years of jewelry design. While inspired by history, this pendant is created for a modern contemporary wearer. ----21k and 18k solid gold, 6g ***I always start with pure 24k gold, bringing it to 21k concentration by mixing it with fine silver and copper. 21K gold is more durable than 22K but does not take away from a luscious 22K color. 18K gold is used where extra structural strength is required ---Dendrite/Dendritic agates are said to encourage patience and perseverance and create a peaceful internal and external environment making them great for self-growth. ---Small Colored diamonds; Orange sapphire ---Peach Moonstone Make a woman in your life feel special with this handmade pendant, a one-of-a-kind, timeless classic.
