About the Item
A gala necklace designed by Mario Garavelli.
This is an outstanding contemporary gala necklace, created in Firenze Italy by the jewelry designer Mario Garavelli. The fabulous necklace was designed with thirty-three graduated flexible links, made up in yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Five of these links in the front section are fully mounted with an impeccable pave setting composed of two-hundred fifty-eight white colorless natural diamonds. The necklace is fitted with a discrete concealed boxed push security lock and a hinged snap slash for extra safety.
Diamonds: Mount in a pave setting, with 258 graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of about 10.32 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity. The diamonds are graduated between .03 to .06 carats.
Weight: 159.85 Grams, (102.47 Dwt).
Size: The fully extended length is 18 Inches, (45.75 Cm) and may be sized down by removing few links at each side from the back section on special request.
Measurements: The links are graduated from 12 mm to 14 mm (0.47 to 0.55 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with Italian control marks; the maker's mark associated to Garavelli, the mark for the assay of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follow, "GARAVELLI .750 ITALY 18KT *237AL".
Mario Garavelli
He was well known Italian designer for the quality and originality of his craftsmanship. The company was founded in the city of Firenze in the 1920. The same innovative techniques are applied to the craftsmanship and superior jewelry design at Garavelli today. Jewelry with flowing curves, fluid forms and remarkable pavé design is the Garavelli signature. Always was a family-run company that reinvents itself with each generation by creating precious jewelry.
