Jeweled Snake Choker Necklace in Silver. Matching Bracelet listed and sold separately.
This Heavy Choker Necklace and Curio Showpiece will be the talk and attention of any gathering. Crafted by hand, the Gothic Style necklace is constructed in Solid Sterling Silver and Precious Black Rhodium. Adorning the Body of the Serpent are a total of sixty-five Round Orange Sapphires and two Marquis Orange Sapphires for the Serpents eyes. The Intense Color Orange Sapphires have a total weight of 3.37 carats. All of the Sapphires are burnish and bezel set. Set in the toothed mouth opening of the snake is a removable South Sea Pearl. The White, near round Pearl measures 11.5mm and has a High Luster. The Necklace has a heavy, but comfortable and wearable weight of 4 ounces, or approximately 75 Dwts Sterling Silver.
The Necklace is fully hinged at the back and opens to allow for comfortably and easily putting the Choker Necklace on and taking it off. The hinge includes a pin closer and safety chain.
When closed, the internal diameter of the Necklace opening is approximately 16".
The Snake measures approximately 12mm round at the base of the Head and tapers to 4mm round at the tip of the tail.
The Head of the Snake measures approximately 20mm wide, x 30mm long, and 30mm deep at open mouth.
