Vintage Boucher Baguette With Wrap Around Rounds Choker Circa 1960s. This necklace is so gorgeous in its design. It is a somewhat rigid circle of baguettes though not totally. They are on bars and then they are wrapped around with rows of round stones. Just stunning! This is a necklace that was so well thought out and looks so well in its detail. They truly don't make them like this any more. You can save it for a very special occasion or you can use it for fun with a white t-shirt. This is one of those necklaces that truly looks fine.
Boucher worked for Cartier in Paris in the 1920's before coming to America hence the gorgeous designs. To find one in this kind of shape is a miracle.
I once read that costume jewelry is for people with taste and not for pretending to be what you're not.
